Newsroom August 30 12:41

A van has ploughed into people outside a hospital, killing at least one person in China.

Distressing footage of the incident’s aftermath shows a trail of destruction, with multiple bodies strewn along the road.

The horror crash happened in the Chinese city of Nanning, close to the Vietnam border.

Nurses and passersby are seen running into the street in an attempt to help the injured.

Images shared on social media show around a dozen locals heroically pushing the van off other victims.

Others lie motionless or sit up waiting for medical attention.
