The parliamentary immunity of Antonis Gregos, Polivios Zisimopoulos, Artemis Mattheopoulos and Constantinos Barbarousis have been lifted.

The four Golden Dawn MPs now await the call of the investigators handling the GD case, in order to be indicted for the creation and participation in a criminal organization.

It should be noted that on the request for waiving the immunity of Mr. Alexopoulos Chrysovalantis has taken a few days’ extension since the -now- independent MP asked for postponement in order to attend court.

However, in this way, 17 out of a total of the starting 18 GD MPs are now charged with the offense of participating in a criminal organization.

Regarding the outcome of the vote, 213 MPs voted in favor of lifting the immunity, 16 “against” and 8 stated “present”.

This data shows that there were “differentiations”. In particular, 11 “against” votes were GD present MPs and 5 from the other parties, while 8 “present” votes belonged to other parties as well.
