The British newspaper Guardian describes the islands of Sporades and Evia as ideal destinations for holiday and provides helpful tips to readers on accommodation options, restaurants and attractions that they should not miss.

The Sporades consists of 24 small islands, but only four of them, Skiathos, Skopelos , Alonissos and Skyros, are inhabited.

Skiathos, according to the Guardian, is the most popular of the Sporades islands, has an international airport, amazing sandy beaches and visitors can always discover isolated paths for hiking!

Alonissos is known for its unique marine park surrounded by many small uninhabited islands. Visitors have increased in the last decade but it still holds its exclusive atmosphere.

Skyros is the least visited island of the Sporades. However, as the British newspaper mentions, anyone who chooses visiting this island will be rewarded by the traditional Greek village life.

Finally, Evia island might not belong to the Sporades, but it is also located in the eastern Aegean. It is the second largest Greek island after Crete. Evia is an ideal destination covering all tastes since it has marvelous mountainous areas and beautiful beaches.
