Shortly after 10:3 on Egnatia Odos stream from Thessaloniki to Veria occurred a tragic group crash among dozens of cars and a truck.

At the height of the village Mesi, at the junction between Veria and Kouloura, several private cars were immobilized due to works in the previous section of the Egnatia Odos.

For so far unknown reason, according to preliminary data the truck crashed onto cars. On-site rushed the police and fire officers.

According to a radio station listener of “Radio Thessaloniki” 40 cars were involved in the crash, while there are reports of injuries, which have not been confirmed as yet.
