Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is appearing on the main news bulletin on Alpha TV where he is giving the first televised interview after the announcement of the national elections tonight to news anchor Antonis Sroiter.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis is answering questions about his electoral goals in the May 21 ballot, the course of the economy, the program he proposes for the next four years, the necessary reforms in the State, support for young people, Greek-Turkish and national movements in geopolitics chessboard.
Asked about the results of the first opinion polls, Mr. Mitsotakis said that he rarely looks at them during the pre-election period and added that Tempi was a big shock, there was a temporary deterioration but now that we see the real dilemmas, the world is rallying around the ND.
Mitsotakis spoke about 6+1 measures that the next ND government will implement and which will boost household income in the first television interview he gave after the announcement of the national elections.
The PM committed to:
– Further reduction of employer contributions by at least 1 unit
– Increase of tax-free 1,000 euros for families with children; a measure that will be applied regardless of the plus 1,000 euros for each child
– Until 2027 to abolish the business levy, as tax compliance improves
– Indirect taxes will at some point start falling but as long as we ensure that budget execution is not diverted.
– Increase wages by 25%
– Minimum wage to reach 950 euros at the end of four years
– Renewal of housing program “My house” with 10,000 new houses.
