ND leads SYRIZA by 6.3% in latest GPO poll

PM Mitsotakis is seen as the most suitable to become PM

Ruling New Democracy (ND) holds a 6.3-point lead over SYRIZA, – 1.5 points higher in relation to the previous poll, at the beginning of April, according to a poll by GPO poll company in the main news bulletin of STAR.

ND now gathers 33.8% in the vote intention against SYRIZA’s 27.5%, followed by: PASOK-KINAL at 8.8%, KKE at 6.6%, Hellenic Solution at 3.5%, and Mera25 at 3.6%.

The vote estimate for ND ranges from 34.5% to 37.5% and for SYRIZA from 29.5% to 31.5%. PASOK – KINAL 9% to 11%. KKE 6.5% to 8%. Hellenic Solution and Mera25 3.5% to 4.5%.

48.1% believe that things will be better with a ND government in the next 4 years compared to 29.6% who believe that things will be better with a SYRIZA government.

52.9% judge positively and rather positively the governance of the ND.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis is considered a more suitable prime minister by 46.8% against 30.1% who consider Alexis Tsipras more suitable.

55.7% prefer new elections if an absolute majority is not achieved by any party due to simple proportionality and 41.4% for a coalition government to be formed.

64.1% judge SYRIZA negatively and rather negatively in the role of the official opposition.
