Photo footage reveals aftermath of attack

Newsroom February 3 03:27

An explosion occurred shortly before 01:30 near the Ministry of Labour.

The explosion has caused material damage. Earlier, at about 12:40, an unknown person had called a newspaper and reported that he had hung a bag outside the Ministry of Labor, warning them that it would explode in 40 minutes.

He then called again and reported that the device had been placed outside a bank (Alpha Bank) located near the ministry on Korai Street. According to police, the device exploded at 01:29 at this point.

The caller said that the ‘Revolutionary Brigade Self-Defense’ is claiming responsibility for the explosion. The bomb squad after the explosion approached the spot with great caution in fear of a second bomb, but could not locate anything.
