Katerini: 34-year-old woman dead after a traffic accident – Her 2-year-old child in hospital in Thessaloniki

The car driven by her husband collided sideways with a bus

A 34-year-old woman, who was injured yesterday in a traffic accident on the provincial road Katerini – Paralia Katerini, breathed her last today.

The accident occurred shortly before 10:30 when a car driven by a 41-year-old man from Serbia, in which his 34-year-old wife of Croatian origin and their two-year-old child were travelling, collided sideways with a bus.

The 41-year-old man and the 34-year-old woman were taken to the hospital in Katerini, The 34-year-old woman this morning succumbed to her injuries and breathed her last.

According to thestival.gr, the child was transferred to a hospital in Thessaloniki where she is being treated.

Preliminary investigation for the exact causes of the accident is carried out by the Traffic Police Department of Katerini.
