If math was always a nightmarish ordeal for you, you now have a solution that will make algebra and difficult math problems as easy as a game.
The new free application, called Photomatch, for iOS and Windows devices (an Android version will be ready in 2015) does everything its name suggests. It scans an equation, and through digital recognition software combined with the smartphone’s computing power, to uses an algorithm to solve it.
This application, as its designers state, should be used to verify a solution and not solve it, while they also drew the attention of teachers to students who may use it to cheat on their math tests.
