Basketball player George Korres started young in the Greek world of basketball when his high results got him noticed by Diagoras Egaleo where he started playing professionally. The son of a businessman and graduate of Varvakeios School at Psychico got into Athens University of Economics and Business but chose to also pursue the world of basket as well as business even though this has been to the detriment of his studies. As if all that wasn’t enough, he’s added modelling to the equation.

“A friend proposed I get in touch with a modelling agency as an additional employment and it didn’t seem like a bad idea,” he said, refering to his first tentative steps in the world of modeling. Though still a rookie, he’s already worked on modeling jobs for the likes of Bodytalk, Nino Cerruti and Ermenegildo Zegna.

He told Proto Thema that he enjoys training, keeping in shape and bowing to the power of the “orange goddess” of goals! And it’s this love of basketball that shows on his fit body that modelling agencies and women in Greece and beyond admire.

When he isn’t modelling, playing basketball or studying for his business degree he helps his father out at the family alarm installation business.
