Early on Saturday morning, former England captain David Beckham went to the Arsenal soccer team training ground to pick up his 15-year-old son, Brooklyn, who plays for Arsenal’s under-16 soccer team.

On their way home, their grey Audi RS6 collided with another car which was speeding, according to The Telegraph.

Both 39-year-old Beckham and young Brooklyn walked away from the accident unscathed.

“David and Brooklyn were shaken by the accident but thankfully okay,” a source close to the famous retired footballer told PEOPLE.
