Piraeus municipality warns of suspending all works on the city’s transportation (subway – tram), if the already proposed  actions are not  made, in order for the city to stop resembling a construction site as well as improving the daily life of citizens.

With the sponsorship of Olympiakos FC, the Municipal Authority is currently undertaking a series of initiatives for making Piraeus more presentable.

According to Mr. Marinakis the current situation in Piraeus is unacceptable for both citizens and visitors.

The president of Olympiakos presented a series of views during the city council. Among other he stated that ” We will not tolerate the city looking so bad during the festive period, neither to expose citizens to dust, dirt and possible flooding”.

Further, he stated determined to overcome any possible obstacles and even collide if needed.
