All potential beneficiaries of the EHIC, with no exceptions, will receive their medicines free of charge from the new year (In total, 310,000 low-income pensioners will, from now on, have free access to their medicines).

– The dangerous nature of the services provided by the 150,000 uniformed men and women of the Greek Police, Fire Brigade, Coast Guard, and Armed Forces are recognized.

For the banks:

– All charges on basic banking transactions (payments to the state, insurance funds, municipalities, energy, water, and telecommunications companies) are zero.
– A cap of up to EUR 0.5 is set for the transfer of funds up to EUR 5,000 per transfer.

– The former restrictions on the operation of Credit Providers are being lifted in order to make more loans available.
– 100 million euros are transferred from the financial system to be used either for the renovation of existing school buildings or for the construction of new school buildings under the Marietta Giannakou Programme.
– An additional 100 million is given by the banks for the establishment of a Real Estate Acquisition and Re-leasing Agency.
– The limit for daily transactions in the IRIS system is extended to 1,000 euros, and the charge for loading prepaid cards up to 100 euros is zeroed.
