Authorities arrested five individuals accused of being involved in a ring that allegedly trafficked anabolic substances through stores selling dietary supplements as well as online shops. The arrests followed an investigation by the Economic Police in Thessaloniki and Larissa.

According to reports, among those accused in the case is a bodybuilding athlete, his brother, and their father.

The five arrested individuals were brought before the prosecutor, where they faced criminal charges, depending on the case, for offenses related to the circulation of harmful drugs, violations of food and sports laws, as well as being part of a criminal organization.

They were immediately referred to the investigating judge, where they requested and were granted time to prepare their defense, and they remain in custody until then.

It is noted that, according to reports, the investigation by the Economic Police took place in two stores based in Thessaloniki and Larissa.
