From this afternoon (Friday, December 20, 2024), heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in the Corfu-Paxos region, Epirus, and gradually in western Sterea, the rest of the Ionian Sea, and the western Peloponnese.

On Saturday (December 21, 2024), localized heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast in the western Peloponnese, the southernmost Ionian islands (Kefalonia-Zakynthos area), central and eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the East Aegean islands (mainly the Samos-Icaria area), the Dodecanese, and Crete (mainly the western and southern parts).

Winds: From this afternoon (Friday, December 20, 2024) until Saturday afternoon (December 21, 2024), locally gusty winds from westerly directions (initially southwesterly and gradually northwesterly) will blow in western and southern Greece.

On Sunday (December 22, 2024), the weather will improve across the country, and wind intensity will not exceed 5 Beaufort. However, on Monday (December 23, 2024), a gradual deterioration of the weather is expected from the northwest.
