Russia is open to economic cooperation with the United States, President Vladimir Putin’s new special envoy for international economic and investment cooperation said today, responding to Donald Trump’s call for “major economic development deals with Russia.”
“Russia is open to a United States-Russia economic cooperation and believes that such cooperation is key to a more resilient global economy,” said Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev, who was appointed on Feb. 23, according to a statement.
