Donald Trump insisted at the press conference after the NATO summit that strikes against Iran‘s nuclear program were not just successful, but “eliminated” the program. As for the Israel-Iran war, he said that “we believe it’s over.”
“This incredible exercise of American power paved the way for peace with a historic cease-fire agreement late Monday,” the U.S. president said, adding:
“We call it the 12-day war. It just sounded like the right name. It was a 12-day war. And we believe it’s over. I don’t think they’re going to get back together again. I don’t think so.”
