Thousands of acres of farmland are drying up day by day, with producers watching helplessly as the water vanishes.

Farmers describe it as a struggle for survival, with the drought consuming their crops.

Equally distressing is the situation in the Evros Delta wetland, where—according to reports from local residents and environmental organizations—a lack of fresh water is threatening the area’s biodiversity, resulting in the death of fish and wildlife.
