Greece will enjoy mostly clear skies today, with some localized clouds in the afternoon, especially over western mainland areas, where short rain showers and isolated thunderstorms may develop in the mountains. Morning fog is expected in parts of the west, particularly near coastal areas.

Winds will blow from the north: 3–5 Beaufort in the west, 4–6 Beaufort in the east, and up to 7 Beaufort locally in the Aegean. Temperatures will be slightly lower, reaching 30–32°C in much of the mainland, the Ionian islands, Crete, and the eastern Aegean. Inland areas may see up to 33°C, while the Cyclades and Sporades will remain cooler, not exceeding 29°C.

  • Eastern Aegean islands & Dodecanese: Mostly sunny, highs 22–32°C, slightly cooler in the north. Winds 4–7 Beaufort.
  • Athens: Sunny, 21–33°C, cooler in northern and eastern suburbs.
  • Thessaloniki: Sunny, 19–31°C, light winds.

Outlook:

  • Monday: Clouds will thicken in the afternoon over the mainland, bringing showers mainly in mountain areas. Temperatures steady, 31–33°C inland.
  • Tuesday: Mostly clear with brief afternoon showers in northern and central highlands. Winds remain strong in the Aegean.
  • Wednesday: Similar pattern, generally sunny but with afternoon clouds in central and northern areas. Temperatures will rise slightly.
  • Thursday: Clear in the morning, with clouds developing later over the west and north. Temperatures stable, winds strong in the Aegean.
