Equity prices rose on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, with the basic share price index up by 5.52% at 901.33 points and turnover at 45.065 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks increased by 6.23%, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up by 3.35%.
All individual sectors increased with the biggest gains in Banks (+12.10 percent), Utilities (+8.43 percent), Telecoms (+7.73 percent) and Travel & Leisure (+ 6.72 percent).
63 of the stocks traded increased, 12 fell and 8 remained unchanged.
