Olympiacos Hits 100 in Vitoria: Baskonia 96–102 Olympiacos

Despite blowing a 15-point lead (4–19), Olympiacos fought through a tough battle in Spain to claim a road win with triple digits on the scoreboard. Coach Giorgos Bartzokas reintroduced Vezenkov, Fournier, and Milutinov in the final minutes, and they turned a 92–91 Baskonia lead into a 102–96 Olympiacos victory with an 11–4 run in the last two and a half minutes. Big threes from Vezenkov and Walkup sealed it.

Two Olympiacos players posted double-doubles:

  • Sasha Vezenkov: 24 points, 13 rebounds
  • Nikola Milutinov: 12 points, 14 rebounds

Tyler Dorsey added 21 points, while Tyson Ward scored 11 in his EuroLeague debut. Walkup dished 8 assists.

Quarter scores: 20–27, 48–49, 70–73, 96–102

Panathinaikos Handles Bayern in Athens: Panathinaikos 87–79 Bayern Munich

Panathinaikos overcame first-game stress, rebounding issues, and just 5-of-15 shooting from three to secure a solid win at the Telekom Center Athens. Kendrick Nunn was the star with 21 points and 10 assists, supported by Nikos Rogkavopoulos (15 pts) and Omer Yurtseven (14 pts).

After a shaky first half, Panathinaikos found rhythm in the third quarter and built a double-digit lead, extending it to +12 (77–65) after a Kostas Sloukas three-pointer in the 33rd minute, effectively putting the game out of reach.

For Bayern, Xavier Rathan-Mayes (18 pts), Isaiah Mike (18 pts), and former Panathinaikos forward Wenyen Gabriel (13 pts) stood out.

Quarter scores: 23–22, 47–41, 68–61, 87–79

Armani Milan Too Much for Crvena Zvezda: Red Star 82–92 Armani

Armani Milan showed depth and balance, with eight players scoring 8+ points, to take a 92–82 win in Belgrade. Zach LeDay led with 21 points, while Niccolò Mannion added 9 points and 5 assists.

For Red Star, Jordan Nwora scored 19 and Izundu Ibuoka was perfect inside (14 points, 7/7 FG).

Quarter scores: 20–22, 41–45, 63–69, 82–92

Virtus Bologna Upsets Real Madrid: Virtus 74–68 Real Madrid

Dusko Ivanovic’s Virtus Bologna stunned defending champions Real Madrid with a 74–68 win. Real’s three-point shooting was disastrous (3/23), needing nearly 30 minutes to hit their first.

Virtus maintained control late, with Luca Vildoza’s timely three pushing the lead to +8 (60–52). Despite a last-minute chance, Campazzo missed, and Morgan’s free throws sealed it.

Carson Edwards (14 pts) and Saliou Niang (12 pts) supported Vildoza’s big night. Mario Hezonja went 0/7 from three for Madrid.

Quarter scores: 14–19, 38–35, 55–50, 74–68

Anadolu Efes Opens with a Win in Montenegro: Efes 85–78 Maccabi Tel Aviv

In neutral-site Podgorica, Efes rallied past Maccabi with a strong fourth quarter. Maccabi led by 8 in the first half, but Efes stormed back with a 15–8 run in the final period and never looked back.

Five Efes players scored in double figures, led by Rolands Smits (16 pts) and Jordan Loyd (16 pts). They also dominated the boards (40–32). Maccabi’s Hilliard and Sorkin each had 15.

Quarter scores: 21–19, 40–44, 60–59, 85–78

Historic Debut for Dubai: Dubai 89–76 Partizan

In their first-ever EuroLeague game, Dubai made history with a commanding 89–76 win over Željko Obradović’s Partizan in the Coca Cola Arena.

Dubai excelled from deep (11/20 3PT) and shared the scoring load with four double-digit scorers:

  • Davis Bertans (20 pts, 5/7 3PT)
  • Dzanan Musa (19 pts)
  • Mfiondu Kabengele (15 pts)
  • Filip Petrušev (14 pts, 8 reb)

Dylan Osetkowski led Partizan with 12.
