Rainy weather has caused problems in the centre of Athens. On Emmanuel Benaki Street, a tree was uprooted, injuring a passerby.

According to cretaone.gr, which publishes the photos, the man who was injured was driving a motorcycle at the time, when at the junction on Emmanuel Benaki street, the tree was uprooted and fell on him.

As photos from the scene show, the man was on the roadway immediately afterwards, and the tree trunk fell into a car, stopping it from falling further.
