Heraklion firefighters dressed up as Santa Claus to bring joy to children hospitalized at the hematology-oncology clinic of the University General Heraklion Hospital (PAGNI).
The 3rd EMAK, the 3rd EMODE, the Heraklion Prefecture Fire Service and the Heraklion Firefighters Association “Three Children in Kamino” responded to the call of the 7th Health Region of Crete and transformed into flying Santa Claus. The special moment was musically decorated by the Brazilian percussion group Batala Creta, based in Heraklion.
According to neakriti.gr, during the event, the firefighters distributed gifts and wishes to all the hospitalized children
The “flying” Santa Clauses were welcomed by the children and their families in the presence of the governor of the 7th Regional Hospital of Crete, the administration of Pagni, the management of the clinic and the nursing ward, employees of the hospital, and volunteers of the Association “The Company of Love”.
The celebration continued in the playground of the clinic, where the choir of Traditional Music of the Diocese of Pedias “Agios Minas” sang carols with the children and the attendees.
