Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said talks between the Russian President and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras were “very positive.”
“The talks were very positive, many levels of cooperation were formed, everything was agreed and there are common plans to be implemented,” said Peskov.
“There is great potential and we have common plans for which we must work. For this reason things are extremely positive. The most important issue is that our Greek partners are willing to continue the cooperation, something that the Russian side fully supports,” he said.
The Kremlin confirmed that Tsipras will be the honored foreign leader at the annual Economic Forum of St. Setersburg. Hence, a new visit is planned for June.
