Reports for the favourable evaluation of certain public sector employees are inaccurate and groundless, according to the Administrative Reform Ministry.
“The criteria for the evaluation of people who have been transferred to MPs, MEPs and party offices are exactly the same as those that apply to all public sector employees,” Administrative Reform Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Tuesday.
Speaking on a radio station earlier on Tuesday, Mitsotakis noted that he would be glad if the government could renegotiate the issue of layoffs. “Layoffs are commitments made by previous governments, in which I did not participate, but as an Administrative Reform Minister I have to implement the government policy.”
