Gravas Swimming Pool A. Tritsis (10 Passov Street, Ano Patissia, tel 210 2282714)

Open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9.30 a.m. to 5.40 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. until the end of June. 5 euros per time, 25 euros per onth and 50% discunts for students members of large family and conscripts.

Goudi Swimming Pool (cnr of G. Papandreou and Kanellopoulou St, 210 7771990)

A large, outdoor 50m pool. 5 euros per time 25 euros for 15 visits in a month and 30 euros for daily visits. Annual cost at 5 euros. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m and Saturday from 9.30 a.m. to 5.40 p.m and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Kolokynthous Municipal Swimming Pool (37-39 Leandrou Street, Kolonos, tel 210 5148601)

Indoor pool open daily. 25 euros for 15 times a month or 40 euros per month for unlimited use. Cheaper rates for vulnerable groups.

Haidari Outdoor Municipal Pool (cnr of Agoniston Stratopedou and Kavalas Avenue, tel 210 5810901)

An Olympic-sized swimming pool and a kiddies pool nearby. Open to the public on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sundays. 20 euros to register and 35 euros per month. Special rates for the unemployed. Special aqua aerobic lessons four times a day.

Sports Center of Ilision (42 Taxilou Street, Zografou, tel 210 7780252, 210 7780335)

An open outdoor swimming pool is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. except on weekends. Registration is at 10 euros and 6 euros for adults and students. You can choose different programs from 30 euros or 25 euros for 12 times per month or a ticket of 4 euros for a single visit.

Municipal Pool of Chalandri (150 Pentelis Avenue, Chalandri, tel 210 6814328)

Indoor pool of 25m dimension open to the public from Monday to Friday 7.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 7.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration costs 20 euros and 30 euros per month. Daily entrance for members is at 8 euros. There are special swimming lessons for kids aged from 4-14 years three times a week.

Indoor pool of Piraeus (41 Fokionos and Gravias sts, near Papastratos factory, tel 210 411 6339)

A large pool operates daily. Call for information daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Elliniko Argyroupolis (cnr of Kyprou and Tripoleos Avenue, tel 210 9624042)

A pool of Olympic dimensions with 8 routes. Opens daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The cost of a visit is at 5 euros for residents of the municipality and a monthly rate of 40 euros per month.

Maroussi Municipal Pool (cnr of Kyprion Agoniston and Anaxagora sts, Marousi, tel 210 6107650)

Two pools: A large and smaller pool open to the public from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. except Tuesday and Thursday when it closes at 8 p.m. Open on Sunday until noon. Price is 25 euros per month for municipal residents and 35 euros for non-residents.

Municipal Pool of Melissia (cnr of 7 Ypsilantou and Panagouli Alexandrou sts, Melissia, tel 210 8104082)

One of the best swimming pools of the northern suburbs with a large and small pool at 33 meters. Open from early in the morning to 8.45 p.m. each day except Saturday when it is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is at 30 euros per month.

OAKA (37 Kifissias Avenue, tel 210 6834777)

The daily ticket costs 5 euros for the open swimming pool and 6 euros for the indoor pool. Registration is at 30 euros and a monthly card is at 50 euros. There are many special packets such as a multiple visit card. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 6.40 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The indoor is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
