Veteran New Zealand actor Sam Neill dies aged 78

Neill breathed his last at a hospital in Australia. He had been diagnosed with blood cancer in 2022 and had recently revealed that he had come out the winner in that fight. Over his career he appeared in Oscar winning films as well as commercial successes such as Jurassic Park.
