Equity prices on Monday were rising on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.53% at 1,169.08 points at 11.00 a.m., and turnover at 11.69 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.64 percent, while the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 0.10 percent.

On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Chemicals that went up 3.01 percent, Telecoms that increased by 2.17 percent and Travel & Leisure up 1.94 percent.The heaviest losses were in Health that went down 2.95 percent and Commerce down 0.32 percent.
