Deputy ministers should not attend the TIF, says Prime Minister

In order to avoid any unnecessary expenses that could cause the dissatisfaction of the citizens

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras ordered its government to keep a low profile at Thessaloniki International Fair. He said that no deputy ministers should attend the event, so as to avoid any unnecessary expenses that could cause the dissatisfaction of the citizens.

Mr. Antonis Samaras will probably go to Thessaloniki from Cardiff, Wales, where he participates in NATO summit.

The opening ceremony of the TIF is scheduled for Saturday at 11 am and Antonis Samaras will walk through the kiosks of the fair and speak to the representatives of the industrial market. He will depart for Athens on the same day.
