Five Greek contestants for Eurovision (videos)

Tamta, Thomai Apergi, Dionysis Schinas, Shaya and C:Real are the five contestants that will reportedly be announced on Wednesday

The Greek national broadcaster NERIT and MADTV are about to announce the five participants for Eurovision 2015. The country will choose one of five participants to represent it, after Shaya (Mariana) Hansen slid through to be included in the lineup with the finals set for early March.

The five representatives expected to be announced on Wednesday, February 4, are expected to be:

Georgian Tamta Goduadze, known simply as Tamta. She catapulted to fame on Pop Idol.

Thomai Apergi, known for participating in Eurosong 2013 – a MAD show, in the Greek national final for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Shaya, the Greek-Danish singer, was a member of the girl band Hi-5 created from a reality show. She is currently persuing a solo career.

Singer Dionysis Schinas is a 45-year-old musician who has worked with great names on the local music scene.

C-Real are a popular Greek pop band headed by composer, lyricist and producer Takis Damaschis.
