L.A. Police shoot unarmed man in head as he flags them down (Warning: Graphic vid)

His crime? Wrapping his hand in a towel!

Los Angeles police officers shot a man in the head on Friday after he attempted to flag them down with his arm wrapped in a towel. He was unarmed though the police did not know that at the time. Shot at 6.35 p.m. at the corner of Los Feliz Boulevard and Tica Drive, the officer exited the vehicle and opened fired though it was unclear if the man flagging him down had a gun.

The man was then handcuffed and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
