A limited edition set of 500 signed copies of Kim Kardashian’s highly-anticipated selfie book sold out in less than a minute from their “virtual shelf”.

The 34-year-old’s celebrity’s 352-page collection of selfies, titled Selfish, will be released to the masses in May. However, website Glit.com gave Kardashian’s hardcore fans the opportunity to buy a special signed copy, an offer that sparked tremendous interest.

The pre-sale copies, which retailed for $60, featured a special cover and were each signed and numbered by Kim. After the quick sell out, the celebrity thanked her fans on Twitter writing, ‘Thanks to everyone who got a copy of Selfish on Gilt! Crazy it sold out in one minute!’
