Leonidas Diamantopoulos etches out the images to adorn the ceiling of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Dallas hoping that it will soon be a landmark site for Texas. The project took place after years of planning and fundraising after three and a half years for Diamantopoulos and three assistants to create the icons before rolling them up in bubble wrap to send from Greece to the United States. From there it takes 20 days to attach the canvases to the walls with special adhesive.
