Rhodes to hold Easter supper to Russian journalists for tourism

Thessaloniki tourism expo at end of May

The regions of northern Aegean and Thessaloniki have planned a series of initiatives in their efforts to boost tourism and promote Greece as an attractive destination for travelers from around the globe. More specifically, authorities from the  northern Aegean regional unit have scheduled to hold an Easter Supper for a group of Russian journalists visiting the island of Rhodes on April 30 and May 1, in a effort to promote Rhodes as a religious tourism destination. The Thessaloniki chamber of commerce will organise a 3-day international tourism expo named ‘2016 Tourism Festival’ from May 26-29, to promote the city of Thessaloniki and Greece. The Expo is under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior and Administrative Construction, the municipality of Thessaloniki and the central Macedonian chamber of commerce. Cultural and gastronomical events will be held during the Expo, while a schedule of meetings between industry professionals (B2B) has been set up by the organisers.
