Schauble extends ultimatum: proceed with reforms right away

German Minister of Finance emphasized that “Risk has not yet been eliminated”

Wolfgang Schauble clarifies that discussions for the next day of the Memorandum and conditions, cannot begin before the Greek government fully implements its agreement with  its  partner-lenders.

Referring to the return of Greece to the markets, the German Minister of Finance characterized as that the “key” is the implementation of reforms which Greece has commit to. Further he requested the programs completion.

“We all made an appeal to Greece to complete the project as soon as possible” said the German Minister, and added that it is the prerequisite for any discussion to be made or not after the completion of the program.

Finally Mr. Schauble stated that Greece has noted great success, however risk has not yet been eliminated.
