Stefanos Tsitsipas to undergo elbow surgery, Italian media reports

Tsitsipas was forced to withdraw from the ATP Finals in Turin

Sky Sports Italia reported that Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas could be having surgery on his elbow.

According to the report, Tsitsipas is one step before being admitted to the operating theatre after the fourth-ranked player was facing serious problems in the right elbow forcing him to withdraw from both the Paris Masters and the ATP Finals.

According to the Italian Media outlet, the Greek visited the doctor who had taken care of world No.1 Novak Djokovic when the Serb was suffering from a similar problem and it is likely he will be operated on.

So far, there has been no statement from the Greek champion.
