Gov’t: Pensions won’t be subjected to further cuts

The previous government’s commitments to the troika of the country’s creditors for raising the retirement age and further cutting pensions are no longer valid

Alternate Minister for Social Insurance Dimitris Stratoulis on Friday promised to shelve ministerial decrees issued by the previous government with regard to primary and supplementary pension cuts.

Specifically, the alternate minister told MEGA TV that the previous government’s commitments to the troika of the country’s creditors promising to raise the retirement age and further cut pensions are no longer valid.
