Amphipolis: The Caryatids are four meters tall including the pedestals

They do not, though, reveal the name of the person buried there

According to information published on xronometro.com, the pedestals were fully uncovered and each of them is 1.80 meters tall, while the statues are 2.27 meters tall, as the Ministry of Culture stated.

So, the total height exceeds four meters impressing anyone who sees these imposing figures.

However, the marble pedestals do not bear any symbol or inscription which might answer the main question of the archaeological team regarding the owner of the tomb.

Meanwhile, the floor of the first chamber behind the Sphinxes has been fully uncovered, but does not contain any mosaic representations or other decorations that might lead to some conclusions on the person buried there.
