EPP Head Weber: Greek-Egyptian EEZ deal enhances stability and peace in east Med

Weber called on the EU to stand by Greece and against Turkish efforts to undermined international law

Manfred Weber, the head of the European People’s Party (EPP) praised Greek PM Mitsotakis stressing the agreement between Greece and Egypt on the demarcation of EEZ sea borders enhanced peace and stability in the eastern Mediterranean.

Weber urged the European Union to stand firmly on the side of Greece against Turkish efforts to undermined international law.
