Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will participate in the Supporting Syria and the Region conference in London and is expected to face pressures on refugee issue especially after the article published by German magazine Spiegel, which claims that the Greek government deliberately fails on handling efficiently the refugee flows, because it wants to push the immigrants to move to other EU countries.

Mr. Tsipras will meet at 18.15 with head of UNHCR Filippo Grandi and leader of the Labour Party leader of the workers’ Jeremy Corbyn, while at 14.00 he will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel to discuss the refugee issue.

Greek Prime Minister will have a series of meetings with political leaders, including British Prime Minister David Cameron at 15:00 and President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz at 16:00.
