Singapore Airlines to operate again direct flights to Athens in 2015

The flights will be served by aircraft Boeing 777 -200ER.

Singapore Airlines, the national carrier of Singapore, announced on September 18 that it will operate again direct flights to and from Athens for the summer of 2015, after its return at the Athens International Airport this year that was deemed highly succesful.

More specifically, the airline has announced that direct flights will run from June 8 to October 8 2015 every Monday and Thursday from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport to Shangi Singapore and vice versa. The flights will be served by aircraft Boeing 777 -200ER.

Takis Dimitriou, CEO of Asian Aviation, the official representative of Singapore Airlines in Greece, stated that the direct flights to and from the Greek capital this year served a large number of tourists from Greece and Australia, as well as international passengers from Asia, something that was expected by the company.
