A half-naked man attempted to stab passers-by on the streets of Oslo, Norway, on Tuesday, before being shot dead by police.
The police said there were “more than one” people who were attacked and threatened, but did not provide any information on their condition.
According to the same information, a patrol car in the Bislett district of North Oslo hit the wall of a building, in an attempt to stop the perpetrator.
He then moved towards the vehicle and managed to open its door, injuring a police officer, before being hit by “many shots”, as stated, that followed.
It was not immediately clear if the police officers inside the vehicle were the ones who shot him.
The perpetrator was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died.
According to local media, the perpetrator had carried out a similar knife attack in Oslo in 2019.
