Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla announced on Saturday that he has tested positive for the coronavirus.
It is the second positive diagnosis for Bourla in just over a month. He was diagnosed again in mid-August.
I have tested positive for COVID. I’m feeling well & symptom free. I’ve not had the new bivalent booster yet, as I was following CDC guidelines to wait 3 months since my previous COVID case which was back in mid-August. While we’ve made great progress, the virus is still with us.

In a tweet, he pointed out that he is feeling well and is not showing any symptoms. He added that he has not taken the booster dose, because he follows the instructions of the American CDC that citizens wait three months from the period in which they fell ill.
“Although we have made progress, the virus is still with us,” he points out in the tweet.
