Ruling New Democracy (ND) leads SYRIZA by 5.9% in the intention to vote ahead of the May 21 elections, according to a GPO poll for the Parapolitika newspaper.
Specifically, ND gathers a percentage of 32.8%, SYRIZA 26.9%, PASOK-KINAL 9%, KKE 6.3%, Hellenic Solution 3.1%, MERA25 3.2%, the Greeks of Elias Kasidiaris 3%, National Creation 1.4%, other party has 3.5% while 8.7% of the respondents chose “I don’t know/undecided”.
In relation to the previous polls by the same pollsters, in March and at the beginning of April, New Democracy regained the percentages recorded before the train collision in Tempi with a percentage of 32.8%, compared to 31.4% it had at the beginning of April and 29.5% recorded in March. The rise, that is, is 1.4% in relation to the previous poll in April and 3.3% in relation to the one in March. On the contrary, the gains of SYRIZA are smaller, from 25.6% in March, it reached 26.6% at the beginning of April and 26.9% in the poll published today, Saturday.
On the contrary, PASOK-KINAL recorded losses , which from 9.5% in the two previous polls, is now at 9%.
The KKE and MeRA25 appear steadily, keeping the polling powers they had won after March, while the latest developments within the Hellenic Solution limit its dynamics and bring it marginally above 3%.
