A Palestinian man was arrested in Kos for the attempted rape of a 19-year-old girl on Monday morning.

According to a report by dimokratiki.gr, the offense according to the complaint took place in the early hours of Monday (17/07), when the 19-year-old local girl was having fun in a nightclub in the area of Tigaki.

According to her complaint, at about 3:00 the 33-year-old perpetrator followed her to the toilet and violently assaulted her. The complaint says he tried to open her shirt and did not let her leave the toilets in order to force himself sexually on her will against her will.

The girl managed to escape and immediately notified the authorities and men of the Kos Security Department arrested the Palestinian. A preliminary investigation is underway.
