According to reports, the aim of the people who re-occupied the law school is to maintain the occupation at least until tomorrow, Tuesday, when the students will hold an assembly.
In addition, members of student associations are calling for a protest meeting to be held outside the administration building of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, on the occasion of the intervention of the police operation, which was completed at about 7 am.
In a statement, the member of the board of the student association of Computer Science, Antonis Sidiropoulos, said that “at six in the morning while the day had not started, police forces on the order of the dean entered to evacuate an occupation that had already decided by a large majority of the law student association.
It is an extreme decision of repression. We will not be terrorized by repression.
They won’t silence our struggle.
We will not allow the police forces to enter, violate the decisions of the collective bodies and do what they want.”
