The weather is clear across the country – The forecast for the Holy Week

The weather will generally be clear with few local clouds in Crete, from midday in the northeast, and from midday to afternoon in the mountainous areas of the northern and central mainland.

The winds will blow northeast at 3 to 5 in the western regions and north at 4 to 6 in the eastern regions locally reaching 7 beaufort in the Aegean Sea.

The temperature will experience a slight increase mainly in the western areas.

It will reach 26 to 27 degrees Celsius in the western mainland, 24 to 26 in the rest of the mainland and the Ionian islands, and 23 to 24 degrees Celsius in the Aegean islands.

Forecast for Monday 29-04-2024:

Generally sunny weather with few local clouds in Thrace, the Cyclades, northern Crete, and during the midday and afternoon hours in central and northern mainland Greece. Rain showers will occur in northern Crete in the morning hours and in Thrace until the evening. The temperature will slightly rise in western and northern mainland Greece, reaching 20 to 24 degrees Celsius, locally 25 to 27 degrees Celsius in the west, southern Crete, and the Dodecanese islands.

Forecast for Tuesday 30-04-2024:

Locally increased cloudiness in Macedonia, Thrace, northeastern Aegean, eastern mainland Greece, the Sporades, Evia, the Cyclades, and Crete, with cloudiness increasing further in the afternoon over western mainland Greece. Local rain showers and possibly thunderstorms are expected in the morning and afternoon hours in Thrace and the islands of the northeastern Aegean. Few local showers are expected in Evia, northern Crete, and near the Cyclades in the morning hours. Generally sunny weather in the Dodecanese and the southern part of the islands of the eastern Aegean. Winds will blow east at 4 to 5 Beaufort, turning to northern directions with the same intensity in the afternoon. In the east, winds will be north at 6 to 7 Beaufort, locally reaching 8 Beaufort until noon. The temperature will slightly rise in the east.
