Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son, Pax, has been released from the ICU following a serious motorcycle accident last week.
The 20-year-old, according to sources who spoke to People, suffered a head injury as he was not wearing a helmet, resulting in a “complex trauma.” Therefore, it will take a long time for him to fully recover.
A person close to the family stated: “Pax has been released from the ICU. He suffered a complex trauma and now begins the long road to recovery and physical therapy.”

The same source mentioned that Pax and his mother Angelina are “deeply grateful for the swift and life-saving actions of the first responders and the excellent medical care he received.”
Angelina Jolie has not left her son’s side all these days, along with his siblings, according to the same source. “They are all close to him,” it says.
However, the source did not comment on Brad Pitt or whether he has contacted his son or the rest of the family.
The accident is just the latest incident raising concerns for the 20-year-old, for whom many sources told Page Six that he has become increasingly troubled, prompting his mother, Angelina Jolie, to seek help for him.
Pax – who was not wearing a helmet – crashed into the rear of a stationary car at an intersection on Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles during his evening ride on Monday (29/07).
Pax was unconscious and regained consciousness only when paramedics arrived. Witnesses feared the worst, while doctors believed he might have suffered a brain hemorrhage, according to TMZ.
Page Six revealed this week that Pax had several accidents with his electric motorcycle before Monday’s incident and almost never wore a helmet.
“His friends are worried about him,” a source revealed. “He is reckless. They are concerned.”
Another source said that Pax has not only crashed electric motorcycles but also cars.
“He has had a series of car accidents,” they claimed. “Things are not going well. Pax is a troubled kid, and Angelina is doing everything she can to help him.”
