Angelina Jolie and 16-year-old son Knox shine at the Governor’s Awards

It marks the first public appearance of the actress's teenage son after 3 years

Newsroom November 18 12:17

Angelina Jolie and her son Knox Jolie-Pitt made a rare joint public appearance.

The Oscar-winning actress was accompanied by her 16-year-old son, whom she shares with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, at the Governor’s Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 17. This event marked Knox’s first red carpet appearance in three years.

Jolie looked radiant in a yellow dress and walked arm-in-arm with her teenage son, who appeared dashing in a classic suit.

Knox last walked a red carpet in October 2021, when he, along with his siblings Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, and Vivienne, showed support for their mother at the London premiere of Eternals. (Pax was absent from the event.)

Despite having famous parents, Knox and his siblings prefer to keep a low profile and stay out of the public eye, according to Jolie.

“They’re very shy, very private people,” the actress said in an interview with E! News in October. “They want to be private.”
