International media interest is being attracted by Karpathos, as one of the world’s most up-and-coming destinations for 2025. CEO Today, which reaches 250,000 corporate executives, has published a survey of the world’s top ten destinations that offer the joy of exploration and true escape, placing Karpathos in second place.
According to CEO Today Magazine, “with its stunning beaches and stunning mountainous landscape that exudes raw beauty, Karpathos has managed to escape the “clutches” of mass tourism, maintaining its charm as an untouched paradise. The festivals with traditional music and amazing gastronomy stand out“. P
The municipality’s planned contacts with journalists and editors who regularly write for major international media such as The Sun, Guardian and this medium, and who showed keen interest in both the range of alternative activities on the island and the recent gastronomy festival organized by the municipality.
The Polish travel website travel2.pl, which through 3 special features invites Greek lovers “to visit the picturesque villages of Karpathos and the mythical Olympus, taste macaroons and be introduced to the traditions of the authentic destination of the Dodecanese”, is also broadcasting in the same vein.
Meanwhile, the largest online travel magazine of Scandinavia Freedom Travel promotes Karpathos through videos and a series of articles that “travel” the public to exotic beaches, nature activities, sea excursions, tours of picturesque settlements and culinary delights.
It is noted that the Municipality of Karpathos organized in September journalistic missions from Poland and Sweden, with the aim of early promotion for the new season. “Our goal is to develop strategic partnerships and promote different aspects of the destination that allow for pre and post high season traffic,” Karpathos Municipality’s Deputy Mayor of Tourism Tasos Milios said.
